Wetland restoration

Many wetlands lie as discrete patches and require tailor-made solutions unique to the problem at hand. We are dedicated toward restoring such wetlands by adopting nature-based solutions. At Nagdaha, a suburban wetland we are in the process of constructing a sediment retention pond to combat sedimentation and producing biopesticide to combat the dual problems of invasive species proliferation and curbing the use of chemical pesticides.

Study and Research

Our team consists people from different backgrounds including environment, biology, ecology, engineering etc. Combining such diverse knowledge we have conducted different studies pertain to hydrological, physico-chemical, biological, along with social aspects of wetland management.

Adopting Circular Green Economy

Conducting restoration activities and promoting continuity to such works require adoption of circular green economic models. We are dedicated towards this approach and are prototyping biopesticide produced using water lettuce, an invasive aquatic species. Additionally we are also looking for ways to promote regenerative tourism centered around wetlands.
