Our mentors
Jitse Bijlmakers
Jitse is highly interested in the interface of biotic and abiotic processes and how do abiotic processes and conditions effect habitats of flora and fauna. His projects and research revolve around the nexus of ecology, hydrology and (geospatial) data and he understands the benefits of ‘superpowers’ of technology, such as remote sensing, data-analysis techniques and models. He has been involved with Wetlands for Nepal from the very start providing us advice and feedback at different phases of our project activities.
